A number of actions have been simultaneously started since 2004:

In the public call for architectural plans, 19 entries were received, with the project being awarded to the architectural studio Brullet-Pineda SL, whose entry was entitled "Plaza" and which successfully handles the question of hospital operations and also contributes added-value elements, such as a modern construction style, the relationship between the building and its surroundings, and the use of materials from Cerdanya, such as stone and wood.
