El servei de pediatria de l'Hospital de Cerdanya té un rol central en l'Equip Territorial de Pediatria que atén pacients pediàtrics de l'alta i baixa Cerdanya i del Capcir.  L'Hospital de Cerdanya té subscrita una aliança estratègica amb l'Hospital de la Santa Creu i de Sant Pau, gràcies a la qual s'ha renovat i completat l'equip d'especialistes del servei. Tots els pediatres de Cerdanya fan estatges de 4 setmanes l'any al centre de referència, a Barcelona. També hi ha un acord amb el Pôle Pédiatrique de Cerdagne que garanteix l'intercanvi de professionals i l'accés dels pacients catalans i francesos a proves complementàries en els àmbits de les patologies respiratòries i dels trastorns alimentaris

Specialized and primary paediatrics care

• Primary care.
  • Primary paediatric consultations for children with CatSalut coverage, run by the team of paediatricians and nurses from the Puigcerdà CAP, are carried out at the Hospital de Cerdanya
  • For children with French health coverage and interconsultations referred by the médecins de ville (in charge of the paediatric team of the Cerdanya hospital).

• Medical Interconsultations with family doctors
• Medical interconsultations with the specialists at the referral hospitals
  • Baixa Cerdanya: A strategic alliance with the Hospital de la Santa Creu and Sant Pau in Barcelona, facilitates interconsultations and referrals.
  • Alta Cerdanya and Capcir: There is also a preferential agreement with the pediatric service of the CH de Perpignan.
